One Week to the Web is an on-site intensive work-effort.  Whiteboard-IT will take your application from concept to completion. You are provided with three Whiteboard-IT employees (1 Senior Developer, 1 Junior Developer, and a Graphic Designer/Photographer) that arrive at your place of business Monday – Friday of the week that you reserve. That’s a full 120 hours of dedicated work by our talented employees. Hours can be set as 8:00am – 5:00pm, 8:30am-5:30pm, or 9:00am – 6:00pm.

Day-By-Day Breakdown

• Monday (Meeting Day) – The first thing we need to do is understand your business and the problems we are hired to solve. This means we need to experience your business problem first hand and have a solid grasp of the problems you’re attempting to solve with our involvement. After we’ve had a tour we’ll have several question for you.


• Tuesday (Foundation Day) – Tuesday will be the day that the Foundation and Business Logic of the application is programmed. On this day, while the programmers are busy laying a solid application foundation, you can correspond with our designer as he produces design concepts for the site.


• Wednesday (Hump Day) – User interface programming will begin today and you can start to really see the advantage of an immediate feedback cycle without the additional cost of deployment, (mis)communication, and phone tag. As features are completed they can be reviewed and altered. Final Approval for all design concepts should be in, in order to make the Friday deadline.


• Thursday (Design Integration Day) – Design concepts are applied to the pages one by one as they are completed by the developers.


• Friday (Application Launch) – Bug Fixes and Cross Browser compatibility are the goals of the day. All targeted features are tested and completed in predetermined order of priority

1. All bugs found and reported during the first week after development are fixed free of charge.


2. A CD with all the source code required to enhance and develop the application is provided on Friday before close of business. While Whiteboard-IT thinks that you’ll continue to use our services we believe you should have the choice and freedom to get your application worked on elsewhere if desired.
